Very sorry to hear of Michael Dawson's passing. He and his brother Christopher made a lasting and deep impression on me when I was about 8yrs old. We were staying in Ty Bach on Bardsey Island, North Wales. They initiated me into the delights of Poker and Rummy. But what really inspired me was the way Michael shuffled the cards. It was like magic. Fortunately he patiently taught me the art of Casino shuffling. This skill has given me a psychological edge in many a card game since. When the time was appropriate, I passed on the art to my daughter.
